LOC, is an acronym that stands for Leave-In, Oil and Cream. It is a three-step method of applying products to curly hair in order to help the hair retain as much moisture as possible, for as long as possible, between washes.
Leave-In – This is water or a water based product. Water is effectively the best moisturiser there is for hair but it will also evaporate first. For this step we would recommend the Babassu Quench Leave-in Curl Primer applied to freshly washed hair. This product really helps to bind intense moisture to the cuticle plus the Babassu Seed Oil will restore and replenish the hair's elasticity and prevent dryness.
Oil – An oil based product like our Inca Radiance Repairing Elixir will help to seal the liquid layer you have applied first which will help to lock in the moisture for longer. This product is perfect for all curl types and will not weigh down the hair.
Cream – A cream-based product that gives a little hold is perfect for this step to finish. If you need more hold, then apply the Acai Berry Fix Defining Gel mix with either the Papaya Slip Taming Potion or Bamboo Ginseng Curling Glaze.
