Cinnamon
This helps with blood flow and circulation, increasing the oxygen and nutrients to your hair follicles.

Almonds
Almond nuts are naturally high in Biotin, which, when added to your diet, increases growth within a few months. One cup contains nearly one-third of your daily requirement.

Yellow peppers
Yellow peppers have high levels of vitamin C which is an important antioxidant that strengthens the hair shaft and hair follicles. Yellow peppers have nearly five and a half times more vitamin C than oranges.

Vitamins and minerals for healthy curls

Iron
Iron is an especially important mineral for hair and too little iron is a major cause of hair loss. Eat your greens like spinach or broccoli. 

Biotin
Not enough Biotin can lead to brittle hair and hair loss. Biotin, is a water-soluble B-vitamin, formerly known as vitamin H or coenzyme R. Peanuts and tomatoes are perfect foods to top up. 

Zinc
A lack of zinc can lead to hair loss and a dry, flaky scalp. Top up by eating beans, nuts or whole grains. 

Protein
Hair is made up of proteins, making it essential for strong, healthy hair. Quinoa is a complete protein and is a perfect plant based choice.
