Baby hairs can be unruly for many reasons. The most common reasons are due to them being brushed in the wrong direction, excess blow-drying, and combing hair too hard. Baby hair can also be new hair growth, which means you have to handle with care.
Don’t blow dry.
These hairs are fragile and easily damaged. Applying heat may lead to brittle hairs that break, making them even harder to lay. The best way to style is while the hair is wet. For some, water may be enough to lay edges, but if you need a little hold we recommend a tiny amount of Papaya Slip Taming Potion.
Use a baby tooth brush
Baby toothbrushes have softer bristles so wet your edges and simply brush them using the toothbrush. You can apply a little bit of Papaya Slip as mentioned or mix with a little water in a bottle then spray the toothbrush and apply. Keep to the same way the hair is naturally growing for the best results. If you try and make the hairs lay in a different position, they are more likely to stick up.
Sleep on it
Pineapple your curls and secure. Use your fingers, not a brush or comb and apply a little Miracle Maca Moisture Balm. Finally, put on a scarf, and go to bed. In the morning, remove the scarf to reveal smooth, frizz free edges.
